Telespazio France's Satellite Communication Solutions Selected Once Again by the Union of Public Purchasing Groups (UGAP)

Toulouse, May 22, 2025 – Telespazio France, a joint venture between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%), is proud to announce that its products and services have once again been selected by the Union of Public Purchasing Groups (UGAP), France’s leading public purchasing center, as part of the renewal of its framework agreement. This selection confirms Telespazio France’s position as the primary supplier for the strategic lot covering satellite communication solutions and associated services.

Through this renewed contract, Telespazio France strengthens its strategic role in facilitating public sector access to satellite communications. The integration of managed LEO services alongside existing GEO solutions enhances connectivity and flexibility. The new contract starts in May and will run for three years, with two possible six-month extensions.

This agreement relies on a trusted network of partners, including TPL Systèmes, which ensures maintenance, SatCom integration, and specialized infrastructure, delivering optimal service quality.

These solutions are intended for the General Directorate for Civil Security and Crisis Management (DGSCGC), Departmental Fire and Rescue Services (SDIS), and various civil security and ministerial bodies. They ensure the continuity and resilience of their operations.

This renewal is a further testament to the quality of Telespazio France’s services and reflects the continued trust of the UGAP and its public sector clients. It illustrates our commitment to supporting these stakeholders over the long term in the modernization of their communication systems, with ever more efficient and tailored offerings.
