We pursue an ambitious R&D policy, with projects related to Earth observation, predictive maintenance, space surveillance, in-orbit services and telemetry for micro-launchers. These are all areas in which the company plans to enhance its role as trusted operator, and which provide a springboard for the major contributions that will shape our future services.
-
Space surveillance
To improve our knowledge of the space environment that hosts the infrastructure we operate daily for our customers , Telespazio plans to become a supplier of SSA services (Space Traffic Management, Space weather, Space intelligence, etc.).
To achieve that goal, we have developed a platform for the integration and fusion of data from ground-based and/or spaceborne sensors, starting with those developed jointly with NorthStar, of which Telespazio is a shareholder.
-
In-orbit services
To foster a more sustainable use of space, Telespazio aims to become a trusted operator in the field of in-orbit services, to guarantee the security of these new types of actions performed in space.
As part of that drive, we develop life-extension, satellite positioning and inspection services, provided from third-party or proprietary infrastructure.
-
Micro-launchers and spaceports
With over 150 people at the Guiana Space Centre, Telespazio France is the leading industrial partner of the Kourou base, and oversees the day-to-day maintenance and operation of ground infrastructure facilities.
Our aim is to build on that experience to offer an alternative access to space to suit the budgets and ambitions of micro-launchers and new spaceports. Among other things, this ambition draws on the development and operation of ultra-mobile, standardized ground-based facilities for the preparation and tracking of launchers.

Resilient communications
Telespazio France plans to broaden its role of meta-operator in the field of satellite telecommunications by providing end users with the best, 100% transparent solution tailored to their need.
To make that possible, we are developing an innovative orchestration platform and we foster the emergence of "univsersal" user terminals, while at the same time boosting our services with technology geared to strengthening the resilience of end-to-end exchanges.
-
Secure GNSS
In addition to our emergency warning services, Telespazio aims to offer new concepts designed to improve the security of the applications using the GNSS.
EWith that goal in mind, we develop turnkey solutions for detecting interference and confirming signal integrity.
